Who: All Troop 2 Scouts should attend this outing. We need all ASMs to please attend this outing also
Where: Lake Perris Regional Park (SRA group camping sites 1 – 6)
Why: Troops from all over the Mt. Rubidoux and Five Nations districts will gather for our spring Camporee. On Saturday morning, all patrols from all Troops will be competing in a Patrol Competition where 5 different activities will test your Scouting skills. Saturday afternoon, all Scouts can participate in Shooting Sports activities including Archery, Tomahawks and Slingshots. There will also be campsite inspections and all Patrols can participate in a Dutch Oven Competition for Saturday dinner. Awards given for: Dutch Oven Cooking (Saturday Dinner), Camp Site Innovations, Patrol Spirit, and the top three overall patrols in the events.
Depart: Friday, April 28 (meet at 1st Baptist Church at 5:30 PM; leave by 6:00 PM)
Return: Sunday, April 30 (return to First Baptist Church at 1 PM)
Cost: $23 + money for Grubmaster (we are doing meal planning on Monday, April 10 so please bring $15 to pay your grubmaster for meals for this event)
